Swiatek extends lead at top of unchanged WTA top 10; Samsonova, Collins big climbers
Liudmila Samsonova also equalled her career-high after reaching the final in Montreal
Iga Swiatek has extended her lead at the top of the WTA rankings, despite missing out on the title last week in Montreal.
The Pole, beaten by Jessica Pegula in the semi-finals, is 984 points ahead of Aryna Sabalenka, up 260 points on the previous week.
Montreal winner Jessica Pegula remains No 3 but has cut the gap slightly to the top two. The placings in the top 10 remain unchanged heading to Cincinnati this week.

Runner-up Liudmila Samsonova is the biggest mover in the top 20, climbing six places to No 12 and equalling her career-high, having first hit that mark in February.
Danielle Collins is back inside the top 40, moving up 14 places to No 34 after making the quarters in Montrea, losing out to Swiatek.
Katie Boulter continues to improve, the Briton up 12 places to No 60 – a career-high – after qualifying and reaching the second round. Former US Open runner-up Leylah Fernandez moved up nine places to No 72.
