Stuttgart Open: Zheng books spot in second round
Qinwen Zheng defeated Sorana Cirstea 6-2, 6-3 on Tuesday and will play the winner of the match between Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk and German wildcard Laura Siegemund in the next round

Chinese Qinwen Zheng, the No 5 seed, won against Romanian Sorana Cirstea 6-2, 6-3 to advance to the second round of the Stuttgart Open at the Porsche-Arena on Tuesday.
Zheng, ranked No 7, will face the winner of the match between Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk and German wildcard Laura Siegemund next.
