Vondrousova wins in three sets to reach Strasbourg quarter-finals
Marketa Vondrousova came back from a set down to beat Magdalena Frech on Wednesday in Strasbourg. Vondrousova will face the winner of the match between French wildcard Fiona Ferro and Ukrainian Anhelina Kalinina.

Top seed Marketa Vondrousova reached the quarter-finals of the Strasbourg Open by beating Polish qualifier Magdalena Frech 5-7, 6-1, 6-0 at the Tennis Club de Strasbourg on Wednesday afternoon.
Vondrousova, ranked No 6, will next play the winner of the match between French wildcard Fiona Ferro and Ukrainian Anhelina Kalinina.
In the previous round of the Strasbourg tournament, Frech — ranked No 54 — defeated American Sloane Stephens (6-3, 6-3).
