Katerina Siniakova beat Kazakh qualifier Yulia Putintseva 6-0, 7-5 to reach the last 16 of the Strasbourg Open at the Tennis Club de Strasbourg on Monday.
Siniakova, ranked No 34, will play No 3 seed Danielle Collins next.
