Strasbourg Open: Samsonova upsets Krejcikova to make last 16
Liudmila Samsonova edged out Barbora Krejcikova 6-2, 6-7 (5), 6-4 on Monday and will play Canadian Leylah Fernandez in the next round

Russian Liudmila Samsonova, the No 5 seed, edged out Barbora Krejcikova 6-2, 6-7 (5), 6-4 to reach the last 16 of the Strasbourg Open at the Tennis Club de Strasbourg on Monday.
Samsonova, ranked No 19, will face Canadian Leylah Fernandez next.
