Strasbourg Open: Pliskova books spot in quarter-finals
Karolina Pliskova won against Bernarda Pera 6-3, 1-6, 6-1 on Wednesday. She’ll play Belgian Maryna Zanevska in the next round

Czech Karolina Pliskova, the top seed, beat American Bernarda Pera 6-3, 1-6, 6-1 to advance to the last eight of the Strasbourg Open at the Tennis Club de Strasbourg on Wednesday.
Pliskova, ranked No 8, will play Belgian Maryna Zanevska in the quarter-finals.
The Czech won against Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk (6-4, 6-2) in the previous round.
In the previous round, Pera, ranked No 122, won against Romanian Elena-Gabriela Ruse (7-5, 6-4).
