Linette overcomes Alexandrova to reach Strasbourg quarter-finals
Magda Linette recovered from a set deficit to defeat Ekaterina Alexandrova on Wednesday in Strasbourg. Linette will next face No 4 seed Madison Keys.

Magda Linette moved into the last eight at the Strasbourg Open by beating Russian Ekaterina Alexandrova, the No 6 seed, 6-7 (5), 6-3, 6-3 at the Tennis Club de Strasbourg on Wednesday.
Linette, ranked No 50, will next go up against fourth-seeded American Madison Keys.
The Pole previously got the best of Romania’s Sorana Cirstea (7-5, 7-5).
In the previous round of the Strasbourg tournament, Alexandrova — ranked No 18 — ousted Spanish qualifier Cristina Bucsa (6-0, 7-5).
