Pole Magda Linette moved into the last 16 of the Strasbourg Open by winning against Romanian Sorana Cirstea 7-5, 7-5 at the Tennis Club de Strasbourg on Monday night.
Linette, ranked No 50, will play Russian Ekaterina Alexandrova, the No 6 seed, next.
