Ukrainian wildcard Elina Svitolina won against American Louisa Chirico 6-4, 7-6 (1) to reach the last 16 of the Strasbourg Open at the Tennis Club de Strasbourg on Sunday afternoon.
Elina Svitolina will face the winner of the match between qualifier Su-Wei Hsieh and Belgian Elise Mertens, the second seed, next.
