Frenchwoman Diane Parry beat Croat Donna Vekic 2-6, 6-4, 6-1 to move into the second round of the Slovenia Open at Tennis Arena Portoroz on Tuesday.
Parry, ranked No 71, will face Russian Anastasia Potapova next.
