American Ann Li won against Australian Daria Saville 6-3, 6-1 to reach the last 16 of the Singapore Tennis Open on Monday night.
Li, ranked No 85, will play the winner of the match between American Amanda Anisimova, the No 3 seed, and Chinese Xiyu Wang next.
