Italian Lucrezia Stefanini advanced to the second round of the San Luis Potosi Open by winning against Serb Natalija Stevanovic 6-4, 6-4 at the Club Deportivo Potosino on Tuesday evening.
Stefanini, ranked No 153, will face Russian Erika Andreeva, the No 5 seed, next.
