San Luis Potosi Open: Riera moves into second round
Julia Riera beat Nuria Brancaccio 6-4, 6-3 on Tuesday evening and will face the winner of the match between Spaniard Sara Sorribes Tormo, the No 3 seed, and Romanian qualifier Anca Alexia Todoni in the next round
Argentinian Julia Riera reached the second round of the San Luis Potosi Open by defeating Italian qualifier Nuria Brancaccio 6-4, 6-3 at the Club Deportivo Potosino on Tuesday evening.
Riera, ranked No 119, will face the winner of the match between Spaniard Sara Sorribes Tormo, the No 3 seed, and Romanian qualifier Anca Alexia Todoni next.
