Dutchwoman Suzan Lamens won against Linda Fruhvirtova 2-6, 6-0, 6-2 to move into the quarter-finals of the San Luis Potosi Open at the Club Deportivo Potosino on Friday night.
Lamens, ranked No 156, will face Argentinian Julia Riera next.
In the previous round of the San Luis Potosi tournament, the Dutchwoman beat Mexican qualifier Jessica Hinojosa Gomez (6-4, 6-3).
Fruhvirtova, ranked No 138, edged out Argentinian Maria Lourdes Carle, the No 8 seed (6-7 (2), 6-4, 7-6 (5)) during the first round of the San Luis Potosi tournament.
