San Diego Open: Saville untroubled en route to second round
Daria Saville defeated Lin Zhu 6-3, 6-3 on Tuesday night and will face the winner of the match between Canadian Leylah Fernandez, the No 8 seed, and German Tatjana Maria in the next round

Australian qualifier Daria Saville defeated China’s Lin Zhu 6-3, 6-3 to advance to the second round of the San Diego Open at the Barnes Tennis Center on Tuesday night.
Saville, ranked No 148, will face the winner of the match between Canadian Leylah Fernandez, the No 8 seed, and German Tatjana Maria next.
