San Diego Open: Navarro battles through to quarter-finals
Emma Navarro won against Katerina Siniakova 6-3, 3-6, 6-1 and will face Australian qualifier Daria Saville in the next round

American Emma Navarro, the No 3 seed, reached the last 8 of the San Diego Open by winning against Katerina Siniakova 6-3, 3-6, 6-1 at the Barnes Tennis Center on Thursday night.
Navarro, ranked No 26, will face Australian qualifier Daria Saville next.
Siniakova, ranked No 43, beat Japanese qualifier Mai Hontama (6-3, 6-1) in the previous round of the San Diego tournament.
