Saint-Malo Open: Frech advances to last eight

Pole Magdalena Frech, the No 7 seed, reached the last eight of the Saint-Malo Open by winning against Frenchwoman Elsa Jacquemot 6-2, 6-3 at the Parc des sports de Marville on Wednesday evening.
Frech, ranked No 100, will play American Katie Volynets next.
The Pole defeated Frenchwoman Chloe Paquet (6-1, 6-3) ahead of her victory.
In the previous round of the Saint-Malo tournament, Jacquemot, ranked No 171, won against Uzbek Nigina Abduraimova (6-3, 6-1).
