Japanese wildcard Naomi Osaka won against Belgian Elise Mertens, the No 4 seed, 6-2, 6-4 to advance to the last 16 of the’s-Hertogenbosch Open at Autotron Rosmalen on Tuesday.
Osaka, ranked No 125, will face the winner of the match between American Bernarda Pera and Dutch wildcard Suzan Lamens next.
