‘s-Hertogenbosch Open: Krunic stuns Pegula to reach quarter-finals
Aleksandra Krunic edged out Jessica Pegula 7-6 (3), 6-7 (3), 6-4 on Thursday. She’ll face Hungarian qualifier Dalma Galfi in the next round

Serb Aleksandra Krunic reached the last eight of the’s-Hertogenbosch Open by edging out American Jessica Pegula, the top seed, 7-6 (3), 6-7 (3), 6-4 at Autotron Rosmalen.
Krunic, ranked No 400, will face Hungarian qualifier Dalma Galfi next.
The Serb defeated French qualifier Jessika Ponchet (4-6, 6-2, 6-1) in the previous round of the Rosmalen tournament.
During the 32 of the Rosmalen tournament, Pegula, ranked No 5, won against Belarusian qualifier Aliaksandra Sasnovich (6-2, 6-2).
