Swiss Celine Naef advanced to the second round of the Rouen Open by beating Frenchwoman Leolia Jeanjean 6-3, 6-3 at Palais des sports de Rouen.
Naef, ranked No 122, will face the winner of the match between Italian Lucrezia Stefanini and Romanian Jaqueline Cristian, the No 7 seed, next.
