Pole Magda Linette defeated Ukrainian Anhelina Kalinina, the No 3 seed, 6-1, 4-6, 6-2 to advance to the final of the Rouen Open at the Kindarena.
Linette, ranked No 60, will play American Sloane Stephens, the No 6 seed, next.
The Pole won against French wildcard Elsa Jacquemot (7-5, 6-1), Serb qualifier Natalija Stevanovic (6-2, 6-1) and Dutchwoman Arantxa Rus (7-6 (9), 6-1) earlier in the tournament.
In the previous rounds of the Rouen tournament, Kalinina, ranked No 32, beat Frenchwoman Alize Cornet (6-4, 7-5), Italian Martina Trevisan (6-2, 6-3) and Russian Mirra Andreeva, the No 5 seed (6-4, 7-5).
