Rouen Open: Golubic moves into last four

Swiss Viktorija Golubic, the No 9 seed, reached the last four of the Rouen Open by beating French wildcard Fiona Ferro 6-3, 6-2 at Palais des sports de Rouen on Friday.
Golubic, ranked No 105, will face the winner of the match between Belgian Greet Minnen, the top seed, and Romanian Jaqueline Cristian, the No 7 seed, next.
The Swiss won against French wildcard Elsa Jacquemot (3-6, 6-3, 6-1) and French qualifier Tiphanie Lemaitre (6-0, 6-2) ahead of her victory.
Earlier in the tournament, Ferro, ranked No 175, won against Bulgarian Viktoriya Tomova, the No 6 seed (6-2, 2-6, 6-3) and Spaniard Aliona Bolsova (7-6 (6), 3-6, 6-3).
