Rouen Open: Erika Andreeva moves into quarter-finals
The Russian qualifier will face the winner of the match between French wildcard Alice Robbe and No 4 seed Jodie Burrage in the next round
Russian qualifier Erika Andreeva defeated Frenchwoman Oceane Dodin 6-3, 6-1 to move into the quarter-finals of the Rouen Open at Palais des sports de Rouen on Wednesday.
Andreeva, ranked No 166 in the world and the older sister of 16-year-old Mirra Andreeva, will play the winner of the match between French wildcard Alice Robbe and No 4 seed Jodie Burrage next.
In the previous round of the tournament, the 19-year-old Russian edged out Swiss Jil Teichmann (4-6, 6-3, 7-6 (5)).
Dodin, ranked No 114, defeated Hungarian Anna Bondar, the No 8 seed (6-3, 6-7 (5), 6-4) earlier in the week.
