Russian Mirra Andreeva, the No 5 seed, reached the last 16 of the Rouen Open by beating Argentinian Nadia Podoroska 6-1, 6-3 at the Kindarena.
Andreeva, ranked No 43, will face the winner of the match between French qualifier Fiona Ferro and Russian Elina Avanesyan next.
