Argentinian Nadia Podoroska reached the last 16 of the Rabat Open by winning against German Tatjana Maria 6-2, 6-4 at Union Sportive des Cheminots du Maroc on Monday.
Podoroska, ranked No 59, will play Spaniard Sara Sorribes Tormo, the No 3 seed, next.
