Qinweng Zheng’s has equalled her career-high ranking after winning the title on home soil in Zhengzhou on Sunday.
The 21-year-old moved up five places in the latest WTA rankings, taking her to 19th, equalling the mark she first reached in May.
Former French Open champion Barbora Krejcikova also climbed five spots after reaching the Zhengzhou final. The Czech is now 13th, eyeing a return to the top 10.
The biggest mover was Leylah Fernandez after the former US Open runner-up won her third career title in Hong Kong. The Canadian rose 17 places to 43.
