Qatar Open: Badosa into second round
Paula Badosa edged out Ashlyn Krueger 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 on Monday and will play the winner of the match between Canadian Leylah Fernandez and Russian Liudmila Samsonova, the No 12 seed, in the next round
Spanish wildcard Paula Badosa edged out American qualifier Ashlyn Krueger 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 to advance to the second round of the Qatar Open at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex in Doha on Monday.
Badosa, ranked No 79, will face the winner of the match between Canadian Leylah Fernandez and Russian Liudmila Samsonova, the No 12 seed, next.
