Belarusian wildcard Victoria Azarenka defeated Turk wildcard Ipek Oz 6-1, 6-1 to advance to the second round of the Qatar Open at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex in Doha on Monday evening.
Azarenka, ranked No 17, will play the winner of the match between Bulgarian qualifier Viktoriya Tomova and Swiss Belinda Bencic, the No 7 seed, next.
