Potapova will bid for second title of 2022 in Prague

Russian Anastasia Potapova, the No 7 seed, won against Chinese qualifier Qiang Wang 6-3, 6-0 to reach the final of the Prague Open at TK Sparta Praha on Saturday.
Potapova, ranked No 59, will play No 8 seed Marie Bouzkova next.
The Russian is already one of four first-time title winners on the WTA Tour this year (Istanbul), along with Martina Trevisan (Rabat), Beatriz Haddad Maia (Nottingham) and Bernarda Pera (Budapest).
The 21-year-old Russian beat Chinese Xinyu Wang (6-1, 6-2), Chinese Lin Zhu (6-4, 7-6 (8)) and Estonian Anett Kontaveit, the top seed (6-1, 6-1) ahead of her victory.
Earlier in the tournament, Wang, ranked No 141, defeated Swede Rebecca Peterson (1-6, 6-3, 7-6 (4)), Slovenian qualifier Dalila Jakupovic (6-3, 6-1) and Pole Magda Linette (7-5, 6-7 (5), 6-4).
