Prague Open: Noskova advances to last eight as Lys retires with injury

Top seed Linda Noskova moved into the quarter-finals of the Prague Open when German Eva Lys retired at the Sparta Prague Tennis Club.
Noskova, ranked No 27, led 6-2, 2-1 when Lys, ranked No 108, pulled out on Tuesday evening at the Sparta Prague Tennis Club.
Linda Noskova will play German Ella Seidel next.
In the previous round of the Prague tournament, Noskova defeated Ukrainian qualifier Katarina Zavatska (6-3, 6-2).
The 22-year-old German won against Ukrainian qualifier Anastasiya Sobolieva (6-4, 6-3) in the previous round of the Prague tournament.
