Prague Open: Linette books spot in quarter-finals

Pole Magda Linette, the No 4 seed, won against Spaniard Rebeka Masarova 6-3, 6-4 to advance to the quarter-finals of the Prague Open at the Sparta Prague Tennis Club on Tuesday night.
Linette, ranked No 48, will face the winner of the match between Croat Jana Fett and Bulgarian Viktoriya Tomova, the No 5 seed, next.
In the previous round of the Prague tournament, the Pole beat German qualifier Mona Barthel (7-6 (4), 6-4).
Masarova, ranked No 111, edged out Dutchwoman Suzan Lamens (2-6, 6-2, 7-6 (5)) in the first round of the Prague tournament.
