Prague Open: Linette books spot in final

Pole Magda Linette, the No 4 seed, advanced to the final of the Prague Open by edging out top seed Linda Noskova 6-3, 3-6, 7-6 (2) at the Sparta Prague Tennis Club on Thursday.
Linette, ranked No 48, will play Pole Magdalena Frech, the No 6 seed, next.
Earlier in the tournament, the Pole beat German qualifier Mona Barthel (7-6 (4), 6-4), Spaniard Rebeka Masarova (6-3, 6-4) and Bulgarian Viktoriya Tomova, the No 5 seed (4-6, 6-3, 6-2).
Noskova, ranked No 27, won against Ukrainian qualifier Katarina Zavatska (6-3, 6-2), German Eva Lys (6-2, 2-1 ret.) and German Ella Seidel (6-1, 6-3) in the previous rounds of the Prague tournament.
