Kontaveit reaches quarter-finals in Prague

Estonian Anett Kontaveit, the top seed, moved into the last eight of the Prague Open by defeating Czech wildcard Lucie Havlickova 6-4, 6-3 at TK Sparta Praha on Thursday afternoon.
Kontaveit, ranked No 2, will face Russian Anastasia Potapova, the No 7 seed, next.
In the previous round, the Estonian won against Georgian Ekaterine Gorgodze (6-0, 6-1).
Lucie Havlickova beat qualifier Barbora Palicova (6-2, 7-6 (5)) in the previous round.
