Prague Open: Frech moves into quarter-finals

Pole Magdalena Frech, the No 6 seed, moved into the quarter-finals of the Prague Open when Dominika Salkova retired.
Frech, ranked No 57, led 6-4, 6-7 (4), 2-2 when Salkova, ranked No 135, pulled out on Tuesday at the Sparta Prague Tennis Club.
The Pole will face Ukrainian Anhelina Kalinina, the No 3 seed, next.
In the previous round of the Prague tournament, Magdalena Frech defeated Australian Astra Sharma (6-4, 2-6, 6-2).
Dominika Salkova won against Zeynep Sonmez (6-4, 6-0) in the first round of the Prague tournament.
