Prague Open: Bouzkova joins Noskova in the semi-finals

Czech Marie Bouzkova, the No 8 seed, won against Russian qualifier Oksana Selekhmeteva 6-3, 6-0 to advance to the last 4 of the Prague Open at TK Sparta Praha on Friday.

Bouzkova, ranked No 66, will face Czech wildcard Linda Noskova next.

Ahead of her victory, the Czech defeated Austrian lucky loser Sinja Kraus (6-2, 7-6 (2)) and qualifier Dominika Salkova (6-1, 6-2).

Selekhmeteva, ranked No 170, won against Romanian Sorana Cirstea, the second seed (7-5, 6-4) and Frenchwoman Chloe Paquet (6-4, 1-6, 6-3) earlier in the tournament.
