Porsche Grand Prix: Top seed Swiatek dismisses Zheng, faces Pliskova in quarter-final

Pole Iga Swiatek, the top seed, moved into the last eight of the Porsche Grand Prix by defeating Chinese Qinwen Zheng 6-1, 6-4 at the Porsche-Arena in Stuttgart on Thursday.
Swiatek, ranked No 1, will play Czech Karolina Pliskova next.
Zheng, ranked No 25, won against American lucky loser Alycia Parks (6-4, 6-4) in the previous round of the Stuttgart Open.
