Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, the second seed, reached the quarter-finals of the Porsche Grand Prix by winning against Czech Barbora Krejcikova 6-2, 6-3 at the Porsche-Arena in Stuttgart on Wednesday.
Sabalenka, ranked No 2, will play the winner of the match between wildcard Paula Badosa and qualifier Cristina Bucsa next.
In the previous round of the Stuttgart Open, Krejcikova, ranked No 12, defeated Russian Liudmila Samsonova (6-2, 6-0).
