Latvian Jelena Ostapenko won against wildcard Emma Raducanu 6-2, 6-1 to reach the last 16 of the Porsche Grand Prix at the Porsche-Arena in Stuttgart on Tuesday.
Ostapenko, ranked No 22, will face No 3 seed Ons Jabeur next.
Raducanu has now lost her last three singles matches on tour.
