Kazakh Zarina Diyas edged out Pole wildcard Martyna Kubka 3-6, 7-6 (4), 7-6 (2) to advance to the last 16 of the Polish Open on Tuesday.
Zarina Diyas will play the winner of the match between Pole Maja Chwalinska and Swiss Celine Naef, the No 7 seed, next.
