Ukrainian Dayana Yastremska, the No 8 seed, moved into the final of the Polish Open by winning against Zeynep Sonmez 7-6 (2), 6-4 on Friday afternoon.
Yastremska, ranked No 149, will face the winner of the match between Pole wildcard Maja Chwalinska and Belgian Greet Minnen, the No 4 seed, next.
The Ukrainian beat Uzbek Nigina Abduraimova (7-5, 7-6 (5)), Colombian Emiliana Arango (6-3, 6-2) and No 3 seed Tereza Martincova (6-7 (3), 6-2, 6-0) ahead of her victory.
In the previous rounds, Sonmez, ranked No 193, defeated Slovenian Dalila Jakupovic (3-6, 6-4, 6-3), Slovak Rebecca Sramkova (1-6, 6-4, 6-1) and German qualifier Noma Noha Akugue (6-1, 1-6, 6-4).
