American qualifier Alycia Parks beat Bulgarian Isabella Shinikova 7-5, 6-2 to advance to the last four of the Polish Open on Thursday.
Parks, ranked No 124, will play the winner of the match between Israeli qualifier Lina Glushko and Swiss Leonie Kung next.
In the previous rounds, the American won against Pole lucky loser Ania Hertel (6-3, 4-6, 6-1) and Linda Klimovicova (6-2, 6-3).
Shinikova, ranked No 304, defeated Filipino Alexandra Eala, the No 4 seed (6-2, 6-4) and Australian qualifier Destanee Aiava (6-1, 6-4) earlier in the tournament.
