Pole lucky loser Katarzyna Kawa advanced to the last 16 of the Polish Open by winning against Thai qualifier Luksika Kumkhum 7-5, 7-6 (1) on Tuesday afternoon.
Kawa, ranked No 264, will face Pole wildcard Martyna Kubka next.
