Polish Open: Joint into last four
Maya Joint won against Mariam Bolkvadze 6-0, 6-4 on Thursday and will play Pole Maja Chwalinska in the next round

Australian Maya Joint, the No 5 seed, won against Georgian Mariam Bolkvadze 6-0, 6-4 to reach the semi-finals of the Polish Open on Thursday afternoon.
Joint, ranked No 159, will play Pole Maja Chwalinska next.
The 18-year-old Australian beat Croat Antonia Ruzic (5-7, 6-2, 6-3) and Serb Nina Stojanovic (6-3, 2-6, 6-1) in the previous rounds.
Earlier in the tournament, Bolkvadze, ranked No 252, won against Slovak Rebecca Sramkova, the top seed (6-1, 6-2) and Pole wildcard Gina Feistel (2-6, 6-2, 6-3).
