Polish Open: Joint books spot in final
Maya Joint won against Maja Chwalinska 6-2, 2-6, 6-0 on Friday and will face American qualifier Alycia Parks for the title

Australian Maya Joint, the No 5 seed, defeated Pole Maja Chwalinska 6-2, 2-6, 6-0 to advance to the final of the Polish Open on Friday.
Joint, ranked No 159, will face American qualifier Alycia Parks next.
The 18-year-old Australian won against Croat Antonia Ruzic (5-7, 6-2, 6-3), Serb Nina Stojanovic (6-3, 2-6, 6-1) and Georgian Mariam Bolkvadze (6-0, 6-4) in the previous rounds.
Earlier in the tournament, Chwalinska, ranked No 167, beat Swiss Celine Naef, the No 7 seed (3-6, 7-5, 6-1), Kazakh Zarina Diyas (6-4, 6-0) and Latvian Darja Semenistaja, the No 3 seed (7-5, 4-6, 6-2).
