Pole Iga Swiatek, the top seed, advanced to the last 16 of the Poland Open by beating Uzbek Nigina Abduraimova 6-4, 6-3 at the Legia Tennis Centre in Warsaw on Tuesday evening.
Swiatek, ranked No 1, will play the winner of the match between American Claire Liu and Chinese Yue Yuan next.
