Poland Open: Siniakova makes second round

Katerina Siniakova won against Jesika Maleckova 6-2, 6-4 on Monday afternoon. She’ll play the winner of the match between Spaniard Nuria Parrizas Diaz, the No 7 seed, and Romanian Ana Bogdan in the next round

Katerina Siniakova advanced to the second round of the Poland Open by winning against qualifier Jesika Maleckova 6-2, 6-4 at Arka Tennis Club in Gdynia on Monday.

Siniakova, ranked No 86, will play the winner of the match between Spaniard Nuria Parrizas Diaz, the No 7 seed, and Romanian Ana Bogdan next.
