Italian Jasmine Paolini, the No 10 seed, moved into the last 4 of the Poland Open by winning against Swiss Viktorija Golubic 1-6, 6-2, 6-2 at Legia Tenis & Golf in Warsaw on Friday.
Paolini, ranked No 58, will face the winner of the match between Pole Iga Swiatek, the top seed, and Frenchwoman Caroline Garcia, the No 5 seed, next.
The Italian defeated Montenegrin Danka Kovinic (6-1, 6-1) and Frenchwoman Clara Burel (6-1, 6-7 (1), 6-0) ahead of her victory.
In the previous rounds, Golubic, ranked No 103, beat Dutch qualifier Arianne Hartono (6-4, 5-7, 6-3) and Frenchwoman Kristina Mladenovic (6-7 (4), 6-2, 6-1).
