Poland Open: Paolini moves into second round

Jasmine Paolini beat Danka Kovinic 6-1, 6-1 on Tuesday and will play Frenchwoman Clara Burel in the next round

Italian Jasmine Paolini, the No 10 seed, won against Montenegrin Danka Kovinic 6-1, 6-1 to advance to the second round of the Poland Open at Arka Tennis Club in Gdynia on Tuesday.

Paolini, ranked No 58, will play Frenchwoman Clara Burel next.
