Swiss Viktorija Golubic moved into the last 8 of the Poland Open by beating Frenchwoman Kristina Mladenovic 6-7 (4), 6-2, 6-1 at Legia Tenis & Golf in Warsaw on Thursday.
Golubic, ranked No 103, will play Italian Jasmine Paolini, the No 10 seed, next.
The Swiss won against Dutch qualifier Arianne Hartono (6-4, 5-7, 6-3) ahead of her victory.
In the previous round, Mladenovic, ranked No 116, edged out Hungarian Anna Bondar, the No 6 seed (1-6, 7-5, 7-6 (8)).
