Bulgarian Viktoriya Tomova, the No 4 seed, won against Russian Erika Andreeva 6-4, 6-4 to reach the quarter-finals of the Parma Ladies Open on Wednesday evening.
Tomova, ranked No 85, will play Hungarian Anna Bondar, the No 7 seed, next.
